Yum Asian Bistro (Fm423&lebanon Rd.)

Yum Asian Bistro (Fm423&lebanon Rd.) Asian fusion restaurant

Overview

Yum Asian Bistro (Fm423&lebanon Rd.) sits right off 5444 FM 423 #200 in Frisco, Texas, and it’s the kind of place you notice because the parking lot stays busy without feeling chaotic. The vibe inside lands squarely in the casual yet polished zone, which makes it easy to swing by for a quick lunch or settle in for dinner with friends. I first stopped in after a long workday, and the pace felt just right-attentive without hovering, relaxed without being slow.

The menu leans into a broad Asian bistro style, blending familiar favorites with a few thoughtful twists. You’ll see sushi rolls alongside noodle bowls, rice plates, and stir-fried options that cover everything from light and fresh to deeply savory. What stood out to me was how clearly the menu is organized; even if you’re new to Asian fusion, it’s easy to find something that fits your mood. On one visit, I watched a server walk a first-timer through the differences

The service and atmosphere here was very welcoming. We got a take out order to eat at home. I highly recommend the cashew chicken, Lo mein, Steamed dumplings and Crab Rangoon. Will definitely be back to try more.

Service was quick and efficient. Could have been more friendly. Food, lunch special was yummy Place seemed cleam. Price was reasonable. Would rather have egg roll over soup with lunch special. I would return.

Update : Feb 2020. This place continues to excel, in food quality, taste, friendly service and quick service. The place is clean and neat for dine in. Tried the 3 delight Kung Pao, Sweet & Sour chicken ( the sauce comes separate and you need to mix it at table), Volcano Shrimp, Thai Basil Chicken fried rice (amazingly yummy). The food portions are great and the quality of beef, Shrimp and chicken was excellent. Great place and will keep coming back for dine in and takeout. Original review Jan 2018 : Amazing food, super friendly service and very quick for take out. Everything here is awesome....especially Thai Fried Rice, Mongolian, Sweet Corn Soup and Mango chicken. Yummy !!!

My son chosen Chinese cuisine and we landed here. Atmosphere was very pleasant for dining in. Service was good. We have ordered crab cheese wonton, spring rolls, veg fried rice, shrimp fried rice, wor wonton soup, tiramisu and cookie cream pie. My kids really liked the crab cheese wonton. I liked the wor wonton soup and the shrimp fried rice. My wife liked the vegetable fried rice. Tiramisu was OK. All the foods were delicious and looks healthy with lot of protein and veggies. Price wise it is not too much as well. Overall it was a pleasant experience. I would love to go there again with my family.

Best Chinese in the area. Always fast and you get your moneys worth. I always get the sweet and sour chicken. They give you enough sauce to swim in (not sure why really) but the chicken has never been tough or burnt and always perfect size. I can usually get 2+ meals from one order. They also have great chicken fried rice which my nephews devour and the portion is really big. I also get the happy family sometimes when I'm up for changing it up. Great variety of meat in there and good zing in the sauce makes it really great. Try the crab wontons with cream cheese. They're always still warm by the time I get food home and the perfect amount of gooey. Never had anything that wasn't great here and it's been my Go to Chinese place for over a year now. Definitely won't disappoint!
